About This Event

Be Part of the Conversation Shaping Tomorrow's Workforce.

What happens in Hays CISD classrooms today will shape the future of our community for decades to come.

Community partners and sponsors are invited to join us for an exclusive look at the impact your support helps make possible.

The State of the District is attended by various leaders important to the success of our fast growth district including, Hays CISD Administration, Trustees, local elected officials, PTA leaders, local media, and business partners ranging from companies who help us build our schools to local businesses that serve our greater community.

The day begins with a student showcase featuring the innovation, talent, and achievements of Hays CISD students - the future workforce, leaders, and changemakers of Hays County. 

The 2026 showcase will highlight the following student areas of study:

  • Central Texas Healthcare Academy
  • Aviation: Drones
  • Accounting & Financial Services
  • Audio / Video Production
  • Architecture
  • Law
  • Animal Science
  • Automotive

Guests will then hear from Superintendent Dr. Eric Wright as he shares the progress being made across Hays CISD and the vision guiding the district's future.

This is more than an update on our schools, it's an opportunity to see how investing in public education strengthens our entire community and helps ensure every student is prepared for success.
