26th Annual Source to Sea Cleanup

September 23-24, 2022  [or a date that works best for you]

We Got Dirty for Clean Rivers! Thank you to all of our volunteers, group leaders, sponsors, and friends, for working together to tackle the trash challenge throughout the Connecticut River watershed. We had 127 registered Cleanup groups (plus dozens of others who went out on their own) with over 1200 volunteers fanned out in all four river states. What a team effort!

Once we tally all the data that you submitted, and compile photos and stories of your work, we will share out the results of our collective efforts via the Cleanup Chronicle, later this year. Sign up for our Source to Sea Cleanup eNews to get the details right to your inbox!

We also maintain year-round information on our Cleanup webpages.

We look forward to seeing you at other CRC events and next year at Cleanup 2023!

See what we accomplished together last year!

Whether you are an individual, manufacturer, business, or government, we all have a responsibility to solve the trash problem affecting our rivers. To help do our part, the Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC) hosts the Source to Sea Cleanup, a yearly trash cleanup of the Connecticut River system in NH, VT, MA, and CT. Join us in our vital work for cleaner rivers!

Learn more about 2021's cleanup, including the list of groups that participated and the tally of all trash pulled from the river, in the Cleanup Chronicle (PDF), or watch the video above.

We can all be part of the solution for clean, healthy rivers, full of life!
