Green River Cleanup Group: Greenfield, MA (OPEN)

You have 3 ways to join our Cleanup:

1. Register as a VOLUNTEER. Choose the Green River Cleanup Group!  or:
2. Register as a GROUP LEADER. First pick a preferred site from our Adopt-a-Site map. You will be prompted to create a group name and indicate your chosen cleanup site during registration.
3. We need help sorting recylables at the end of the event. Register as a VOLUNTEER with the Green River Recycling Group.

Cleanup Start/End Time: 9am - 5pm

Things to bring: Refillable water bottles, long pants and sturdy shoes, Optional: rakes, shovels, brooms, 

If Possible: Bring and apply tick repellent before going out, especially if you have heard reports that the tick level was presently high

Fun opportunities on cleanup day:  

• Enjoy coffee & donuts before you head out (8am- 9am)
• Lunch (served at 12:15) 
• Live music and beer tasting from noon-3 pm.
• Enter the Dirtiest Kid and Most Unusual Trash contests.
• Join the Green River Recycling Group on site from 3-5pm for sorting and prepping all that plastic/glass/metal for its proper reuse! You can also sign up with the Recycling group here!
• Join Friends of Reusable Bags (a project of Greening Greenfield and the BagShare Project) in upcycling feed bags into grocery bags!
