Cleanup Start/End Time: Meet at Beachgrounds Park parking lot  on Main St in South Hadley Falls at 9am for coffee, doughnuts, and to pick up your trash bags & gloves. 

Site Name: Beachgrounds Park & Hadley Falls Canal Park

Meet-up Location (if different from above): We will split into two groups: the high school students will stay on the Beachgrounds side of Buttery Brook. This group will clean up the parking lot and trails that lead down to the river, then working north and south along the bank. A second group with Volunteer Conservation Corps members will drive to the parking lot on Main St (just past Bridge St) at Hadley Falls Canal Park. This group will walk down the park path to clean up under the bridge and along the river. All trash will be left in piles for South Hadley DPW to pick up (thank you DPW!).

Additional information for volunteers (what to bring, wear, etc.): It is reccomended to wear long pants and long sleeves with sturdy shoes. Bring your own water, sunscreen, bug spray & snacks. There is a portapotty available at both parking lots. We will provide trash and recycling bags, gloves, and trash grabbers to use during the event. Watch out for poison ivy.
