Everett, Emily and I are super excited to complete our first Santa Paws 5K. As many of you know we adopted our fur baby, Rex, from the Wake County SPCA. It took a lot of persuasion on our part to convince William that our family was indeed ready for a new furry member. In March of 2018, our family arrived at the SPCA eager to find a dog. After meeting several, we arrived at Rex's room...he was actually outside having his free time. He pranced over with his floopy ears to the door to see us. The kids began to play with him through the glass door. We immediately asked to meet him and we were smitten. He has brought pure joy to our family. He's the perfect fit for the House House and now its hard to imagine life without him.
