The Iowa Safe Schools’ Spirit Awards is an annual gala dedicated to recognizing the successes of the LGBTQ community, friends, and allies. This yearly event is a time to applaud the work of our partners, community members, and students who work everyday to inspire positive change.
This event is crucial to fundraising dollars supporting our student work in all 99 counties! Please join us to help us uplift LGBTQ students across Iowa.

Location: The Tea Room (6th Floor, 713 Walnut St, Des Moines, IA 50309)
The 9th and Locust parking garage, as well as the 8th and Mulberry parking garage, are within walking distance of The Tea Room, both via skywalk or street level. Rates are $1 per hour (up to $10 per day) between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Garages accept credit and debit cards only. Street parking is free after 9:00 p.m.
