Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Yuliya, and I'm a staff member at Community Action. I am fundraising for Community Action because every day, I see how hard our staff are working to help community members who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis get back on their feet. 

My passion for Community Action's work started when I was very young after my parents had immigrated from Ukraine. A Community Action agency helped my parents get stabilized after moving to America with very little English and only 50 Rubles. Community Action helped my family get housing, energy assistance, WIC, and education support when we were at our most vulnerable. Without this support, my family's life and my life would look very different. Community Action helped my family at a critical time, and I know they can do the same for our community as we work together to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis.
