About the Skagit Food Distribution Center:

We are located in Sedro-Woolley and serve as the distributor and capacity builder for all 15 local food banks and pantries in Skagit County.

Before the onset of COVID-19, we were providing about 70% of the food you might see in a local food bank, and moving about 250,000 pounds of food a month. Today, we are moving about 650,000 pounds of food per month to local food banks and supplying about 83% of their food. Our production has tripled over the last few months!

Our distribution center is focused on providing nutritious, healthy foods to our community. We deliver monthly food boxes to homebound seniors and provide the food for weekly backpacks for children in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. 

COVID-19 has hit our most vulnerable community members, and more folks than ever are experiencing food insecurity. At the Skagit Food Distribution Center, we are committed to helping our most vulnerable community members access nutritious, healthy foods during.
