Even though I have worked for the Foundation for nearly 18 years, Tod and I have donated since our kids were in elementary school.
We, along with the Foundation, are asking for your support. The great thing about donating to the Foundation is the money goes to help each school and every student in the Shoreline School District. Their mission is to make sure our schools, teachers, and students have opportunities for educational success.
Great things have happened so far! Hot spots and grocery cards have been given to families in need. Over 800 books and activities were handed out to Kindergarten and 1st graders at Meridian Park. Middle and High School students attended a virtual social justice conference and support was provided for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion grants. (Just to name a few)
Coming Soon! The development of a seismic network to collect and study data. This will also encourage students in STEM careers. Summer learning opportunities for K-12 so our students can catch up, retain information or jump ahead.
