As most of you know I grew up here in Shoreline and attended Shoreline Public schools. Since my kids are now doing the same I have been passionate each year about giving to the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation. During these unprecedented times now more than ever our teachers and students need your help, to support opportunities for educational success. The financial impact SPSF makes on the students' successes is immeasurable. SPSF is able to fill many gaps the district is unable to finance. Gaps that include: funding basic needs through family advocate involvement; racial diversity and inclusion training, education and materials; grants to teachers with innovative ideas; additional funding towards Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Music; preschool scholarships for families desperately needing early childhood education for their children; exciting field trips; summer school and so many other "extras" that really are necessities.
