We all need food. To Learn. Play. Work. Thrive. Yet, an estimated 1 in 7 neighbors— and 1 in 5 children—in Southeast Nebraska may not know where their next meal will come from.
The 41st Annual State Campaign Against Hunger aims to help alleviate hunger for neighbors in Nebraska by inviting State of Nebraska employees to collect both monetary and non-perishable food donations.
How Can I Help?
Monetary Donations
You can help by providing monetary donations. Every dollar donated to the Food Bank of Lincoln provides about 2 nourishing meals for a neighbor in need.
Non-Perishable Food & Personal Care Item Donations
Help us stuff the truck! Collect non-perishable food items and bring them to our Stuff the Truck event on Thursday, April 9 from 10:30 a.m.-Noon at the State Capitol Building!
Join our Can-Struction Competition!
Collect food donations and build a structure of your choosing within your agency office. Compete to win our Best Structure Award. Once the competition has ended, donate your structure to the Food Bank of Lincoln to help alleviate hunger for neighbors in Southeast Nebraska. Interested?
