The Step Up for Down Syndrome walk-a-thon wouldn’t be possible without the incredible help of 100 volunteers each year! This is your chance to make a difference, have fun, and be part of an exciting event!
This year we're looking for volunteers to support our Salisbury and Baltimore events.
We welcome corporate groups, church groups, high school students, college clubs, and more! Volunteers must be 14 or older, making it a fantastic opportunity for families, teams, and organizations to serve together.
*No experience needed – there’s a role for everyone!*
Volunteers can plan to be at the event from 8:30am until 2pm on the day of the event.
Volunteer duties may include:
- Cheerleading– Keep the energy high and encourage walkers!
- Carnival game supervisors – Help run fun activities.
- Photography & Stage Management – Capture special moments and assist with event flow.
- Set up/breakdown – Help with decor, banners, VIP areas, and more!
- Start & Finish Line Support – Managing the crowd is an important piece of this event.
