It is my endeavor to assist the Sojourner Truth House in raising funds to continue their mission in providing assistance and resources for those that experience homelessness and hunger in Gary and the surrounding communities throughout Lake County, Indiana.
Sojourner Truth House is dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals experiencing homelessness and hunger throughout Gary and the surrounding communities in Lake County, Indiana.
By participating in our annual Walk for STH, you help individuals move from temporary shelters into safe and affordable housing. You give a child access to a positive, nurturing environment close to Mom as she participates in restorative classes, activities, and entrepreneurial opportunities. You ensure a family has a meal and basic essentials for their household.
