Our family is excited to get to walk in the St. Louis Congenital Heart Walk in honor of our sweet George Michael and all of the incredible heart warriors we’ve come to know and love along this journey. ❤️

 

Congenital heart defects are the most common birth defect, affecting nearly 40,000 babies in the U.S. each year, yet research remains incredibly underfunded compared to how many children and families are affected.

 

Funds raised through the walk go toward research to better understand, diagnose, treat and prevent congenital heart defects. George’s palliative surgeries are a result of research and the incredible minds of providers and surgeons. So we know how important research is for the continued progress for advancing approaches in CHD.
