What Students Learn
Students learn to:
- Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and oxy-fuel welding
- Cut, grind, prepare, and join metal
- Read welding symbols and fabrication drawings
- Measure, lay out, and fabricate projects
- Build with angle iron, tubing, plate, and structural steel
- Identify major automotive systems
- Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic scanners to troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild small engines
