Our Story

Our wonderful mother, Aura Lee, was officially diagnosed with CJD in September of 2019 and passed away less than a month later on October 6th.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a heart of gold; always thinking of others before herself.  She handled her diagnosis with great strength and grace- selfless until the very end. She is missed terribly every day by those who loved her.  We fundraise in memory of her- to help further research and the development of a cure.
