CREUTZFELDT-JAKOB DISEASE? 2 years ago we had never heard of CJD. Over the last year and a half we have seen how devastating it is. CJD is a very rare prion disease. A rapidly progressing dementia. My mom literally became "One in a Million " when she was diagnosed. We weren't given any hope....No Treatment....No Cure...No information from mom's local doctors. We were lucky enough to be put in touch with a world's leading researcher of CJD Dr. Geschwind and opted to try to help. We took mom to UCSF to be a part of their search for a cure.

She fought CJD for 18 months before passing away this June.

Today we are hoping to bring awareness and raise funds for CJD research.
