Our wonderful mom, Aura Lee Sibenaller, was officially diagnosed with CJD in September of 2019 and passed away less than a month later on October 6th.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She had a heart of gold; always thinking of others before herself.  One of her oldest friends described her as someone who was "just meant to be a mom." And I think that so perfectly describes her. We truly couldn't have asked for anyone better.
Mom handled her diagnosis with great strength and grace- selfless until the very end.  The pain of her loss is felt every moment and she is missed terribly by those who loved her.  This fundraiser is in memory of her- in support of further research and a cure.

In October 2020, wear your 2020 Strides for CJD shirt, post photos or videos of yourself and your family in Strides t-shirts and spread awareness on social media.
