During our mother's battle with CJD, she reiterated two statements over-and-over again: “Don’t waste a minute” and “Never give up.” We got involved with Strides for CJD in efforts to heed this advice one more time. Her contagious selflessness taught us to do what we can to ensure that no one must suffer through this alone and that someday we can rid the world of this terrible disorder. We can hear her on the sidelines cheering, “Never give up!”
