When Carter was just 7 months old he lost his beloved Grama to this terrible disease. Today we see so much of her in Sadie and now Morgan too. Her spirit and memory lives on daily in our children.
Every year our family joins together to raise funds and awareness in hopes that someday, other families won't face the loss that we have.

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure. Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
