Evy's Butterflies

My mom Evelyn Marie Limoges Kendall was diagnosed with a rare and fatal neurodegenertive disease in 2019. After a very short 3 month battle she passed away at the age of 59 on August 2, 2019. Evelyn left behind her 3 children and 5 grandchildren. She was the best "Tootz" and a wonderful mother. We miss her dearly. Please consider joining us for a memorial walk or donating any amount to fight CJD. All proceeds go directly to funding research or supporting the families of the victims.

About Strides for CJD

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure. Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Funds raised support our programs including:

  • Our 24/7 helpline, support groups, conference, and other family programs throughout the year.
  • Research grants to help scientists make important discoveries and bring us closer to a cure.
  • Medical education to help raise awareness and understanding of prion disease.
