My mother Amy was the most wonderful person I have ever had the privilege to meet, she was a wonderful mother and my dads best friend.  My mother had an infectious laugh that just made you want to be around her.  When feeling down, she always had the words to make things better.  The community, our friends, my family, my brothers, my dad and myself will all miss this amazing woman.  The world will forever be a better place because my mother Amy was in it.

My mother Amy past away from Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure.  Being so rare many people, including our own family, were not aware of this disease until someone they know is effected. Our main goal through this fundraiser is to raise awareness of this disease in hopes that one day a cure can be found and people and their families no longer have to suffer through this awful disease. Our friends, family, and the community have already given so much to help us through difficult times, so we ask instead that you keep donations small and instead help us spread awareness or join us on the 5k run/walk on October 5th.
