About Strides 4 CJD

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure.

Register or donate to this event to pay tribute to loved ones and show support for friends and families affected by CJD. 

Money raised for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, will provide family support, medical education and research programs.

How much is registration?

  • Adults - Early bird registration is $30.00 until midnight on September 12.  After midnight the cost will be $35.00.
  • Children 12 and under - Early bird registration is $20.00 until midnight on September 12.  After midnight the cost will be $25.00.
    Each registration includes 5 raffle tickets. Extra raffle tickets can be purchased during the registration process.

Directions to Seven Hills Park

Seven Hills Park is located behind the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line, behind the Somerville Theater and Au Bon Pain. Local participants are encouraged to take public transportation if possible.

Metered street parking is available throughout Davis Square.

From the North
Take I-95 South. Take exit 37A to merge onto I-93 S toward Boston. Take exit 31 to merge onto MA-16 E/Mystic Valley Pkwy toward Everett/Revere. Take Harvard St and College Ave to Meacham Rd. in Somerville.

From Boston/the South
Take I-93 N to MA-16 W/Mystic Valley Pkwy in Medford. Take exit 31 from I-93 N. Continue on MA 16/Mystic Valley Pkwy. Take Main St. and College Ave to Meacham Rd. in Somerville.
