We are walking in this event for several reasons: 1) to take a moment out of our busy lives to remember Diane; 2) raise funds that will go towards the research to find something that will either slow down the progression of the disease, stop the progression of the disease, or cure the disease in those individuals who have been diagnosed as having the disease; or maybe even find something that will prevent the disease from occurring; and 3) create more awareness in the community of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease.
