My husband  Paul died from this horrific disease on Feb 26th 2017.  This is a neurological prion disease that affects the brain at a really rapid pace.  Paul was a very fit and healthy man.  From the first signs that something was wrong, it was only 2 months before he passed.  At this time, no cure has been found but a lot of progress is being made in the research of this disease.  I hope , for those of you that are able, you will find it in your hearts to donate to this cause so that we can stop the pain and suffering of people affected with this disease and their families.  I will be walking in Minneapolis on Oct 5th for this cause.  I donated on my own last year for this cause and I am hoping you will all help me this year!
