Earlier this year my loving uncle, Lawrence Jinks, was diagnosed with CJD and passed away just two weeks later. He had the kindest heart and touched so many lives through his love for teaching, coaching and tropical fish. His memory will continue to live on in all of us. It is our hope that through events like Strides for CJD, we bring much needed awareness to this disease and support research in finding a cure.
