My Story

I lost my wonderful mother, Aura Lee Sibenaller, to CJD on October 6, 2019, at the age of 56 and only weeks after her diagnosis.  Her loss was sudden and so very heartbreaking.  Her strength and grace through the process was truly amazing, but not surprising to those of us who knew her.  She was truly the greatest mother we could have ever asked for.  Our family misses her every minute of every day.  Though the money raised won't directly help her, it will go to research for a cure and support for families like mine.  My hope is that someday loved ones will not have to face this nightmare.  I appreciate any and all donations to the CJD Foundation in memory of mom and all those who have been lost to CJD.
