Event Details: The event starts at the Huston Sports Complex (Lewis & Clark College Baseball Field). We walk from Huston Sports Complex through parts of our beautiful Tryon Creek State Park. It’s a lovely 5k!
UPDATE: Lewis & Clark College, where Strides for CJD Portland will be hosted, has just shared with us this updated policy for events at their location. They require that all participants attending events on their campus be vaccinated or have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. Thank you in advance for complying with the College’s policy on this matter.

How much is registration?
- Adults - Registration is $30.
- Children 12 and under - Registration is $20.

About Strides for CJD
Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure.
Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, to provide family support, medical education and research programs.
