In October of 2023, we lost our beautiful mother, Rosie Mouritzen, at the early age of 59. On October 5, 2024, we will conduct a walk with Strides for CJD to raise awareness and drive donations towards future treatments. One treatment is already in human trials thanks to previous donations to organizations like the CJD Foundation, which helps manage Strides for CJD nationally.
Please consider a donation in her honor, and join us on October 5 in San Diego if you are available. We are close to a cure, which brings hope to many.

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure. Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Research grants to help scientists make important discoveries and bring us closer to a cure.
