My Personal Fundraising Page
My mom, Mary Conde, was the best mom I could have ever wished for! She was kind, smart, funny, hardworking and beautiful. At only 61 years old, CJD took her from us. Sporadic CJD is a debilitating brain disease with no known cause. At first the doctors thought she would be fine and recover her vision fully. However, CJD is often misdiagnosed and thought to be a stroke or other things. CJD progressed so quickly that she was placed into a medically induced coma while the doctors tried to figure out what was happening to my mom. From the start of her very first symptom, she only lived another couple months. We never got to say goodbye. Not one word after we found out what was really going on. My hope is that a cure is found very quickly so that no other families have to suffer through the effects of this horrible brain disease. We love you Mom and we miss you every single day!

Funds raised support our programs including:
Our 24/7 helpline, support groups, conference, and other family programs throughout the year.
