I am working to raise money in honor of my Papa Aaron who passed away in 2015 from CJD. He was a great guy and I think of him often. My most fond memories is remembering him helping out my dad in the shop on some big project. They were always working on something! I also enjoyed the times that he would come with my dad and I and we would go morel mushroom hunting! He would get so excited when we would come upon a large grouping. During holidays he is a voice that is still in my heart telling me we need to play cards. He was a big Pfeffer guy and I still will watch the video of him Pfeffering! He is missed but dearly loved! Please help us raise some money so this great organzation can continue to research and hopefully find a way to cure this disease and not take anymore people like Papa.

The deadline for Sponsors' names (individuals) or logos (companies) to appear on participant t-shirts is Sunday, August 9th at 11:59pm Eastern time. Sponsorships made after the sponsorship deadline will have their name or logo* displayed on the Strides for CJD website only.

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure. Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
