David was a caring, lovable guy.  Sometimes grumpy, mostly because he worked midnights.   His sleep schedule was never regular.  He adapted the best he could.  In the fall of 2024, his behaviors and motor control of his hands & legs changed.  Before therapy could begin, he became someone we did not know.  By December, my 59 year old brother was gone, sucommed to this horrible CJD  disease.  If you can help tell others about this rare disease that is incurable and treatable, please speak out.   If you can donate to TEAM DAVID, I know he would be thankful.   You can also participate in the Akron Strides walk October 10.

Gold Sponsors will have their name or logo* displayed on the Strides for CJD website, and will have their name (not their logo) listed on participant T-shirts and signage. Silver and Bronze Sponsors will have their name listed on the Strides for CJD website only.

The deadline for Sponsors' names (individuals) or logos (companies) to appear on participant t-shirts is Sunday, August 9th at 11:59pm Eastern time. Sponsorships made after the sponsorship deadline will have their name or logo* displayed on the Strides for CJD website only.
