Kyle first experienced symptoms in late 2025/early 2026.   After a few months of many doctor visits and tests, finally received a CJD diagnosis in May 2026 and died June 7, 2026, just two weeks after the diagnosis.  CJD is a rapid degenerative brain disease with no current cure or treatment.

Kyle had a zest for life and a was a "kid" at heart.   He was a kind and generous person always willing to lend a hand where needed.  He had a gift to gab and could strike a conversation up with anyone he would meet.  His contagious smile, great sense of humor and spirit for living will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

In honor and remeberance of  my best friend and beloved husband Kyle, my team will be participating in the Strides4CJD walk on October 3rd in Denver, Colorado.   All proceeds raised will benefit the CJD Foundation, which provides family support, medical education and research programs.  Thank you for your support.
