As an amateur chef I have come to realize the importance of nutrition on the human body. If women are in domestic violence situations, all areas of their health are impacted. Shirley's House of Hope not only provides a safe environment for women and children they also provide all the basic needs and then some. With proper nutrition and necessities being met, women at Shirley's can focus on improving themselves and creating a better life for their families.
