I DONATE AND WEAR MY STRIPES BECAUSE I have heard first hand how powerful a stay at Ronald McDonald House can be for a family. A few years ago, my cousin accepted her dream job as a Events and Social Media Coordinator for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas. Over the years, I have heard numerous stories about families who have been impacted by the generosity of the Ronald McDonald House. Every family arrives with a unique adventure; RMHC provides support for families during every step of there child's recovery process. 

As a result of COVID, the Ronald McDonald House has been hit. Unfortunately, volunteers and fundraising opportunities have been significantly affected. Volunteers provide meals for families and pantry needs. Throughout the difficult times, the Ronald McDonald House has continued to stay open and providing all of the necessities for families; comfort, support, and resources. 

Today, Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas has served close to 13,000 families from the upstate, our surrounding states, and beyond our country’s borders. The following amenities are provided for each family to help them be comfortable: 

• 24 Guestrooms (3 Family Suites) with private bathrooms
• Open 24 Hours a Day, 365 Days a Year
• 3 Meals a Day Offered
• Guest reception
• Commercial Kitchen
• Elevator
• Family Gathering Areas
• Playroom
• Playground and Swing Set
• Internet Access
• Business Center
• Family Library
• Laundry Facilities

The Ronald McDonald House keeps families with critically ill or injured children together and near the care and resources they need. All donations will go towards there COVID-19 Relief Funds:

• $10 covers a families cost to stay 1 night at RMHC
• $25 contributes to the Emergency Relief Fund
• $50 purchases snacks for the pantry
• $75 purchases cleaning supplies for the facilities team
• $89 pays for 1 night for a family at RMHC
• $100 sponsors dinners for families for 1 night
• $267 funds a weekend for a family
