I have been volunteering at C.A.R.E. since 2010. While I do not have any pets at home, I get my cat fix every Sunday morning. In my retirement I have also taken on the role of kitten intake coordinator which is basically being a social worker for homeless kittens. At the peak of spring kitten season we had 57 kittens in foster care! It takes a lot of donations to cover the expenses of kittens in our care including food, kitty litter, and medical care necessary to prepare kittens for adoption. That is why I am asking for your help.
