I'm strutting in memory of Kermit. On Valentine's Day 8 years ago, Kermit and I met at the Peterborough Humane Society. He was found running the streets of Peterborough on a cold winter's night. As a volunteer dog walker, I noticed this gorgeous new arrival, but he really stole my heart when I took him in the yard for some exercise and after doing a few laps of the perimeter I knelt down and he came in and leaned against me for a snuggle. Kermit came home with me and became a wonderful, affectionate companion. He became best friends with my mum's golden retriever Zoey and made us laugh with his many antics. Recently, Kermit became very sick and we had to say good-bye. Please support my goal to raise funds for the Peterborough Humane Society. Without them, Kermit and I would never have met!
