Following last year’s Zumbathon success, we are organizing this year the Kidsave’s “Dance-a-thon,” at the Pike n’Rose Sport and Health Club on June 8, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
We are spicing things up this year by adding Bang (dance fitness which combines kickboxing) into the dance mix of last year's Zumba! A truly two-hour-dance marathon! Are you up to the challenge?
This event will directly benefit the Kidsave’s Summer Miracles program which brings older Colombian orphans (considered unadoptable in their own country) to the US for five weeks this summer, to stay with host families.
The hope is that they will meet a family they like that would also be eager to adopt them (83% of these children, on average, do find permanent families through this program).
