Dear family and friends,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Meagan Stone, and I have proudly served as the Head Softball Coach at SUNY Delhi since 2019. In this role, I am committed to providing our student-athletes with an experience they will cherish for a lifetime, both on and off the softball field.
These past few years have tested our resilience, both academically and athletically. Last season, we faced a series of significant challenges: from navigating an unusually early Spring Training schedule in February instead of mid-March, to a 20-day pause in the middle of the season due to extreme weather conditions, and then competing in all of our conference games in just two and a half weeks. Despite these obstacles, our team competed in 34 NCAA games and demonstrated remarkable perseverance and dedication.
Academically, our student-athletes maintained a team GPA of over 3.38 and earned a department-high GPA of 3.53 in the Fall semester. On the field, we reached the playoffs for the first time since 2021, celebrated the most wins since joining the NCAA, recorded the program’s first-ever no-hitter, and had the second student-athlete to reach 100 career hits at Delhi. We are energized and optimistic about the upcoming 2026 season and are eager to build on these accomplishments.
To continue offering a top-tier NCAA Division III experience, we are once again planning a Spring Training trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where we will compete in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic. This tournament has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our athletes and has consistently fostered both individual and team growth. I am deeply committed to providing these transformative opportunities for our student-athletes. However, we need your support to make this possible!
We are currently fundraising to support our 2026 Spring Training trip, and every contribution, large or small, makes a meaningful difference. To allow for proper planning, we kindly ask that donations be submitted by Friday, December 5th, 2025.

As a former collegiate softball player, I know firsthand how impactful these experiences can be, and I continue to treasure the memories I made with my teammates.
