At 18 months, David scored low on his MCHAT, and our lives were never the same.
At age 2, David started early intervention for speech and OT as he had Motor skill delays as well as being non verbal.
At age 3, David has been recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. David is doing speech and OT as he is still non verbal, but he has made strides.
As David starts behavioral therapies and transitions to Intermediate Unit services, it is important to our family to spread autism awareness and to help local organizations like Live, Learn and Play that do so much for our community.
