WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Good Grief builds resilience in children, strengthens families, and empowers communities to grow from loss and adversity.
Nearly 30 kids are newly bereaved each day in New Jersey. Without the right support, these kids can experience negative long-term mental and physical health outcomes. At our Family Support Centers in Morristown and Princeton, New Jersey, we host free peer support groups for children aged 3-30 and their parents and caregivers. Our programs reduce isolation and teach our kids the adaptive life skills needed to process their grief.
Good Grief's education program trains teachers and administrators to support grieving children, run peer groups, and deliver a social and emotional learning curriculum. Together, we are creating a more grief-informed and supportive environment where children and familes can process their grief and thrive.
We can't do this work without you. Join us in this mission of creating a more emapthetic and grief-informed society. Children need a place where they feel at home with their grief. Grief needs a home. We can build it — one donation at a time. Begin fundraising or donate today!
