This year I will be swimming in honor of so many who are living with and through cancer (you know who you are!) and most especially in honor of Sue Encherman, who died last week. Sue was witty, kind, filled with an unending thirst for joy and adventure. The ultimate connector of people and friends, we owe our close friends in the Bay area to her introductions. 

WCRC provides free education, supportive services and emergency assistance to improve the lives of women with cancer, especially low-income persons, people of color, immigrants and members of the LGBTQUIA community. With the current attacks on Medicaid and our health care system generally, it is more important than ever to support people from all backgrounds to get the appropriate care, support and treatment they need.
