Hello Friends and Fam,
Estela and I are excited to return to the Mills College pool on Saturday, May 9th to participate in the annual Swim A Mile | Move A Mile for Women with Cancer event to support the Womens Cancer Resource Center (WCRC)!
This is my 8th (or 9th?) and Estela's 3rd year doing this fun, non-competitive event to benefit WCRC, an Oakland-based nonprofit that provides free support services for women with cancer and their loved ones, serving close to 1,000 cancer patients each year in the East Bay.
Cancer touches us all. But not all of us have access to the medical, social, and emotional support that we need to survive and thrive, whether we're living with cancer or caring for someone who's going through treatment. That's where WCRC comes in, filling an important need in our community.
We need your support to make a difference! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause. All contributions are tax deductible.
