Every year, I participate in the "Swim a Mile for Hospice" event to honor my family members who have needed Hospice care towards the end of their lives. This year holds even deeper significance as I swim in loving memory of my dear mother. Although my mother's passing was sudden, Hospice played a crucial role in helping me understand the grief process and supporting my children through this difficult time. Their guidance was invaluable as we navigated the unexpected loss of their Oma.
