14th Annual Swim-a-Mile for Hospice

Swimming for a cause

Swim a Mile for Hospice asks participants to take on swimming a mile while fundraising for Hospice. This event allows swimmers to select whatever group they fit in the best with while swimming in support of our important work. Different groups have different length courses.

So meet up on Norwood Beach the morning of August 3rd at 8am to go the extra mile for Hospice this summer!

Registration is open to ages 10 and Up!

1/2 Mile & 1/4 Mile Courses also available

Light Breakfast & Snack will be served at Registration

Where?

Norwood Beach, Lakeshore Dr. Registration opens at 7 am, Swim starts at 8am.

When?

Registration opens July 1st and Swimmers fundraise from then until the day of the swim. Prizes for top fundraisers will be given out at the swim on August 3rd!

How does it work?

REGISTER ONLINE

After completing the online registration, a personal fundraising link is generated for you to share via email or social media to encourage donations to support your activity. All participants receive a Swim a Mile pack which includes an event T-shirt, finisher sticker, and swim cap.

Invite your friends or get the whole family involved with our Team Fundraising feature.

COLLECT DONATIONS

Your personal fundraising page is the easiest way to collect donations for your activity. Share your page with friends, relatives, and neighbors via email or social media.

*Prizes will be awarded to the top individual adult and youth fundraisers and top school team. Additional prizes will be awarded to everyone who raises $250 or more!
