Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I begin?
Want to Participate?
Just register online and join us!
You can now create and manage your own personal page, share your photos, goals and get sponsors.
If you have further questions, please contact Latifa Hamilton at tmhfoundation2014@gmail.com.

2. How do I participate?
As done in previous years, a person will create a team and have individuals sign-up under their team name. If you do not want to be a part of a team, but will still like to participate in your area, please check the list of locations on the TMH Foundation website/social media pages and/or Star Legacy Foundation’s website. To register will work the same as previous years too. You will go to the registration link provided by the TMH Foundation on registration open date (normally Mother’s Day). Complete the registration form and watch the countdown begin. The date and time of the event has been determined by the TMH Foundation. The only difference is that the location will be determined by your team leader or the team leader closest to you.

The events will take place rain or shine.

3. I am a Team Leader. What’s my responsibility?
If you are a team leader this is your opportunity to spread the word about the event in your area. Also, it is your responsibility to find a safe location where your walk/run can take place. For instance, a local park that has a trail, a neighborhood with less or no traffic, or local high school track. In addition, it will be your responsibility to ensure that everyone that has registered receives their “TMH Foundation Swag Bag”. For more information about the “TMH Foundation Swag Bag”, please see Section III. For other responsibilities, view the following list:
  • Find a person or persons that will be responsibility for taking photos and videos to be able to be posted to the TMH Foundation social media sites.
  • Ensure that everyone that attends keeps safety in mind.

4. I am a Team Leader. What do I receive from the foundation?

  • TMH Foundation Swag Bag that includes the following
    • Stillbirth Awareness Pamphlets
    • Event T-Shirt

      • Provides on what needs to be done to ensure that this still feels like a cohesive event if the events are held in other areas across country
5. How does Social Media fit into this event?
Social media will be used to keep in contact with the other events going on across country. By posting pictures and videos during and after event will help others to see how your event went too. Each year there is always a special way that we acknowledge our angels. Therefore, using Facebook Live or creating a video and posting will showcase the wonderful events we hold for our angels. Also, social media is one avenue that if we increase useful that participation/awareness will have the same effect.
