I’m so excited (and a little nervous!) to be running the New York City Marathon for the second year in a row with Team Junior Achievement. Coming from a small-town farming background in Nebraska, I’ve seen firsthand how important hard work, financial understanding, and real-world skills are in building a meaningful life. Junior Achievement gives students those tools early, helping them learn about money, careers, and entrepreneurship in a way that sets them up for long-term success. Seeing the impact this organization is making every day is so inspiring, and I'm honored to be a part of it.
