I've joined Children's Cancer Connection's running event team, #TeamCCC in support of hundreds of families affected by childhood cancer throughout the state of Iowa. If you didn't already know I work for a great organization, Children's Cancer Connection, that provides families an opportunity to connect through family outings, hospital and clinic-based programs, and camps and retreats. These events are provided free of cost to families because of generous donors, volunteers and community partners.

I ran a half marathon this year, and thought that would be the end of my running career... but here I am signed up for at least a 10K this summer. Help me support some of the most deserving families in the state of Iowa through #TeamCCC! Runners will run races all across the country in 2019, but will do so in memory and honor of our Children's Cancer Connection families.
