I had the joy of stepping into Mrs. Velasquez’s Pre-K class at Coral Terrace Elementary for Teach-A-Thon! Together, we co-taught a fun and meaningful Halloween-themed lesson featuring Spookley the Square Pumpkin, a story that celebrates the value of embracing differences. After storytime, the students let their creativity shine by designing their own unique pumpkins through a hands-on craft activity.
The class was so welcoming, kind, and full of imagination—it was truly a heartwarming experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and walk in a teacher’s shoes for the day. Please consider supporting this amazing cause that uplifts our educators and students!
