I'm happy to be back this year to participate in The Education Fund’s Teach-A-Thon. I’m excited to step into the shoes of a teacher and actually teach a lesson. This year, I'll be at Hialeah Gardens Middle School talking with 8th grade students of a Computer class and helping them understand how a career in technology could impact them. I love sharing a little bit about myself and how technology has impacted my life as a career. As part of our South Florida CIO Council Scholarship committee, I see first hand when and where students make the decision to join a STEM program and choose a technology career for themselves. There are so many challenges facing our public school teachers and students. The funds I raise go to support teachers and students in our public schools.
